Did you know that Safeway is selling eggnogg already?

Here is my triumphant return to blogging. I was going to write some kind of Garner Andrews-style dream with slow clap and everything but it was a trainwreck so I will get back to writing a new post whatever.

So anyways school has been going on for a month already (yikes). My work load was pretty easy for the first while, and now it is getting back to a normal engineering workload. But I still feel that I have some time to relax and whatever so if this keeps up I will be happy.


So what is on my mind then. School's actually not a big deal. I joined the Gateway (photo section, my writing sucks) and I guess it's ok so far. I took pictures at the Heather Mallick lecture last week and they sucked (but Heather Mallick was fantastic, she is my hero now) so I'm avoiding the photo editor for a while. It is nice to have stuff to do that is non-calculator related. Plus I get to borrow some sweet equipment that I normally would have to pay a lot of money for.

I just need to get over my shyness (I've gotten about a million times better around people over the years but still not great). That is pretty much the only thing stopping me from doing anything. I used to be so quiet that I hardly said anything to anyone, let alone people that know. And I still feel that I purposely avoid talking to people because I always feel like everyone secretly hates me and will just think that I'm an idiot anyways. It seems like they just act nice to my face to be polite. It is hard to describe. Regardless it's not a good feeling but I don't know why I think like that.

On a more happy note I now have a microwave and a bunch of other awesome housewares-related stuff for my new place. :)
