Looks like this blog needs updating. I really don't know what I've been up to for the past month but whatever. I'm house-sitting in Capilano until the third week in August and there is not much to do here but it is nice to be a 15-minute bus ride away from downtown and close to the river valley even if the wastewater treatment plant makes the air smell like ass. AMAZING.

Anyways I have once again decided to move out of the house (for the 10th time, its okay if you don't believe me).
On another note I need to know where I can rip off one of those dairyland or beatrice plastic milk cartons/boxes. I want to rig up a ghetto system for carrying groceries home on my bicycle because its easier than walking home from the groery store. MEC has some nice cheap racks for bicycles so that is awesome.

Also the bikeology festival was on two weeks ago. It was all I expected and then some. The anarchists were there selling buttons, earth's general store was there selling cereal and there were was lots of bicycle related propaganda to go around. As a person that likes to ride my bicycle places but also relies a lot on cars and buses to get around, I felt pretty uncomfortable there. I guess I was not hardcore enough? Do you have to be hardcore to have an interest in something? This is what I really hate about people. It seems like everyone is in their little club and you have to be this hardcore to join.

So today I joined facebook. Not sure if I like it or not. It seems really difficult to find people or to look up anything, really. The point is I don't know what everyone says is so great about it.
